The starting hypothesis of the work is "With every new medium there is a process of informational opening." Based on a broad theoretical foundation based on the development of language, the printing press, radio as well as computer and digital networks, the share of the respective media on a process of informational opening is examined. The analysis focuses social systems and levels, phases, publication processes and effects.
