Publication Access status: Open Access , Soziale Arbeit und Entwicklungszusammenarbeit(2017); Fortschreitende Prozesse der Globalisierung gesellschaftlicher Strukturen gehen einher mit neuen, komplexer werdenden Problemzusammenhängen, die auch Anforderungen an die Entwicklung internationaler und transnationaler Perspektiven in der Sozialen Arbeit beinhalten. Auf der lokalen Ebene ist Soziale Arbeit zunehmend mit globalen Herausforderungen wie Flucht, ethnischen und rassistischen Konflikten, steigender sozialer Ungleichheit innerhalb von Staaten und Exklusionserfahrungen von Teilen der Bevölkerung sowie weltweiten demographischen Prozessen, Umweltkatastrophen und Pandemien konfrontiert. Die Soziale Arbeit ist dabei allerdings keineswegs nur in einer Zuschauerrolle zu verstehen.
