Publication Access status: Open Access , Rui Neto - The Cut(2023); ; Spaces and architectures are not only created from the specific materials needed to build them, they also exist as images and quotations, as narratives and films conjured before the eye of the beholder. These conscious and unconscious fictions have such a fundamental effect on our perception that they also influence what is actually built. Rui Neto‘s work seeks to explore these interactions between imagination, design, and realization. Entitled "The Cut", the exhibition presents sectional drawings and sectional models that help us navigate the relationship between an oneiric world and a real tectonic one.
