The role of management accounting change in emerging-market organizations

Abstract

This dissertation has sought to contribute to existing management accounting literature by focusing on three different issues: first, the reaction of individual actors to the use of management accounting in response to hybridization processes; second, the role of management accounting in addressing stretch goals; and finally, the interaction between multiple management accounting routines and its impact on the application of a new management accounting routine.

Diese Dissertation hat versucht, einen Beitrag zur bestehenden Literatur zum Management Accounting zu leisten, indem sie sich auf drei verschiedene Themen konzentriert: erstens die Reaktion einzelner Akteure auf den Einsatz von Management Accounting als Reaktion auf Hybridisierungsprozesse; zweitens die Rolle des Management Accounting bei der Umsetzung von Stretch Goals; und schließlich die Interaktion zwischen mehreren Management-Accounting-Routinen und ihre Auswirkung auf die Anwendung einer neuen Management-Accounting-Routine.
