Abstract:

In the current thesis a number of selected lithiumorganic compounds were synthe-
sized and investigated by NMR spectroscopy. Using multinuclear 1D- and 2D-NMR
measurements, the structures of the mixed aggregates 2-(R)-1-(Dimethylamino)ethyl-
phenyllithium · n-BuLi and 2-(R)-1-(Dimethylamino)ethyl-phenyllithium · n-BuLi
· Et 2 O were elucidated. These compounds were investigated both by solution and solid state NMR spectroscopy. In comparison with the results of the X-ray structure analysis, the analogy between the solution and solid state structure could be stated.
Furthermore 2-Lithio-1,6-methano[10]annulene was directly investigated by NMR for the first time. In addition to the successful structure elucidation a new, more effective synthesis for this compound was developed.
By using solid state NMR the solid products of the reaction of 2-bromonaphthalin
with lithium in diethylether were identified by NMR spectroscopy for the first time. It could be shown that the radical anion of 2-lithionaphthaline exists beside the formerly indirectly detected 2-lithionaphthaline dianion.
