Biography
Professor Divine Kwaku Ahadzie is a former Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Built Environment and currently Head of the Centre for Settlements Studies in the same faculty at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Ghana. He is a full professor of construction and human settlements development. He is the first African professor winner of the Real Impact Award. In 2021, the AD Scientific rankings named Professor Ahadzie amongst the top 40 researchers at KNUST and 150 in Ghana. He has on two occasions been adjudged outstanding reviewer for International Journal of Project Management (Elsevier) in 2017 and Journal of Urban Planning and Development (American Society of Civil Engineers) in 2021. He has rendered services as academic judge in selecting the best young researcher for the SouthEast Asia Region for Emerald Publishing (UK) and also participated in the 2022 Global Academic Reputation Survey for the prestigious global ranking body, Times Higher Education (THE). Professor Ahadzie’s name is listed on the landing page of the ASCE library. In 2008, he was the 4th most cited author in the International Journal of Project Management.
