Companies are focusing more and more on service-based business models, such as Product-Service Systems (PSS), which integrate products and services. Implementing a PSS business model can strengthen customer loyalty, generate new revenue streams and achieve sustainable efficiency gains. Despite these potential advantages, adoption of PSS business models remains limited as implementation is considered complex and risky.
