Publication Access status: Open Access , Puppen weinen nicht – Puppen in der KinderlyrikAbout two dozen children's poems presented here are about dolls. Very many draw on Mörike's "Children's Scene" from 1864, a small play scene in which the doll doctor calms the worried mother. The background is the high infant mortality rate in the 19th century. The texts provide vivid insights into the social structure of the family (mother – daughter, sister – brother).Source Type:ArticleJournal:denkste: puppe / just a bit of: doll (de:do)Volume number:2022,1-Artikel_04242 325
