Abstract
The dissertation "Beyond Human Creativity" examines the design options available to support human creativity. The work addresses the changed requirements resulting from the digital transformation and the new ways of working that go hand in hand with it. In particular, the new demands on human problem-solving skills in the form of human creativity are the focus of this dissertation. In doing so, the thesis examines fundamental ways of designing "Creativity Support Systems" (CSS). It then applies these to the two application contexts of "Digital Public" and "Digital Design". In fourteen papers, the dissertation presents possibilities for design and identifies approaches for supporting human creativity in the digital age with the concept of "context related stimuli", the innovation method "Design Thinking" and AI-supported creativity in the field of "Architectural Design".
