The lectures mainly deal with the state of organ building, organ playing and composing of organ music at the end of the 20th century an the beginning of the 21th century. This state is characterized by dwindling social importance of the organ, caused by the decreasing ecclesiastical interest of the population and the growing dominance of popular music. The lectures discuss the reasons and the expected aftereffects as well as possible steps to stop the undesirable development. The titles read: Hermann J.
